Editorial: KDOT earns kudos for DUI plan | Cjonline.com Mobile

Back in the day, if an officer pulled you over for DUI in Arizona, there was little chance that they would know about out of state convictions.  Now we are starting to see the police catch on and update their DUI databases to look beyond Phoenix to national convictions.  There is a big difference between first, second and third offense DUI. In a matter of years, my guess is that all jurisdicions will be linked nationally with a comprehensive DUI database.  It is only a matter of time.
