Jonae Harrison was admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona in October 2002. She launched a successful career at the Office of Chief Counsel for the United States Department of Treasury, working as a tax attorney focusing on taxpayers with assets of up to 10 million dollars. There, she litigated tax cases before the United States Tax Court as well as bankruptcy cases before the United States District Court as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. Moreover, she provided advice to the Department of Treasury on issues such as fraudulent tax artifices and schemes. Ms. Harrison segued this expertise by working briefly as a complex commercial litigator at a private, boutique firm.
With a 100% success rate, the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office saw the value of Ms. Harrison’s acquired skill set and hired her into their employ as a Deputy County Attorney. There, Ms. Harrison handled a range of matters, including preliminary hearings, juvenile proceedings, misdemeanor matters and cases involving forgery, fraud schemes, possession of marijuana, burglary, shoplift, theft, and more.
Ms. Harrison has proudly joined the ranks of Arizona’s top criminal litigators at the law firm of Alcock & Associates, PC. Here, she currently handles a misdemeanor caseload as well as assists with the office’s immigration cases.
Ms. Harrison is particularly sensitive to the unique needs of the clientele she serves. Most importantly, Ms. Harrison is careful to treat each as an individual, warranting the utmost care, attention and service.
