Overview
Immigration Attorney Darius Amiri brings a unique background and skill set to the immigration practice at the law firm of Alcock and Associates. Through his multicultural heritage, foreign language skills, and ability to empathize with people from all walks of life, Mr. Amiri has effectively and successfully represented clients in immigration proceedings.
Mr. Amiri’s father immigrated to the United States in the 1960s, thereafter naturalizing and marrying Mr. Amiri’s mother, an American from the mid-west. This background gives Mr. Amiri a broad lens from which to view the world. Mr. Amiri began speaking Spanish as a high school student in California, furthering his understanding of the language and culture while working with his church on community restoration and outreach projects in Mexico. As a language student in college, Mr. Amiri refined his Spanish while living with a family and studying abroad at the University of Sevilla.
As the first generation son of an immigrant with a Spanish speaking background, Mr. Amiri found it a natural fit to practice immigration defense, especially during a controversial and volatile time concerning the subject of immigration in Arizona.
Mr. Amiri is passionate about defense, delivering results, and maintaining strong lines of communication between his clients and their families during the process of a case. Mr. Amiri truly believes in everyone’s right to pursue the American dream, having witnessed it firsthand growing up. Mr. Amiri uses the combination of his background, idealism, spirit, and personality to do his best to deliver results and maintain strong relationships with every client he represents in his capacity as an immigration attorney at Alcock and Associates, P.C.
