Gosh I try not to be so negative but I've been so disappointed in my experience with Alcock. I don't know why the reviews are so high, but I've had a terrible experience with our lawyer and her assistant as well. Firstly, there is almost zero communication. We were told that they would reach out and every time we have to be the ones to e-mail them to remind them to update us. Not only that, but every single e-mail we send, needs to be followed-up 3-4 times over several WEEKS to get a reply. When we finally do get a response, it's clear that the e-mail was not properly read. Not only that, but we'll get answers that were copied & pasted from the USCIS website--something we could easily google or look up ourselves. To top it all off, when they filled out the I-130 (which we had to remind them several times to send us a copy), there were typos and syntax errors! I couldn't believe that we had paid so much for what was a worse job than if we did it ourselves. I don't know if we're just really unimportant clients, but it really feels as if they just don't care about our case at all, which is disappointing since we had to save up a lot to pay for a solicitor and were hoping to receive support, legal advice, and general help. I would be happy to amend this review if they're able to actually start caring about our case and giving us the support that we came to them for.
