Isaac Ortega

Attorney

Isaac Ortega is an Arizona native who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He grew up in the East Valley and later served the residents of Mesa as a police officer for thirteen years, working in several capacities within the department.

While serving as a police officer, Isaac attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies, graduating summa cum laude. He continued his education at Arizona State University, completing both his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees.

After graduating from law school, Isaac was admitted to the State Bars of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits.

Isaac has personally represented hundreds of clients in a wide range of matters, including proceedings before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals. He has also applied his extensive law enforcement experience to representing clients facing criminal charges.

Isaac is committed to helping individuals navigate the immigration system. Because members of his own family have gone through the immigration process, he understands firsthand how stressful and overwhelming it can be.

Drawing on his experience as a police officer, Isaac strongly believes that every individual is entitled to a vigorous defense in court and that law enforcement officers should be held accountable for their actions.

In his free time, Isaac enjoys traveling, practicing martial arts, and, most importantly, spending time with his family, who continue to support him in all his endeavors.
