A Phoenix school bus driver for the Deer Valley Unified School District is in jail, along with his wife, after some disturbing accusations against them. Brian DiCamillo is accused of child molestation, child pornography and child prostitution. His wife, Jennifer DiCamillo, is accused of knowing about at least some of those crimes and not reporting them.
Police said all the alleged crimes happened at the couple’s home and on the Internet. Had it not been for the 10-year-old boy who reported it following a visit to the couple’s home last month, none of this criminal activity might ever have come out. Police say DiCamillo allegedly offered the child an amount of money for sex. According to court records the boy was offered one dollar for sex and allegedly made to view adult pornography. It did not take long before the child became afraid of the situation and he fled from the home. Upon further investigation police say they learned of a second boy, 6 years old. Over the last two years Mr. DiCamillo has been sexually abusing this child, taking intimate photographs of the child and sharing those photos on the Internet.
Perhaps even more disheartening, police say DiCamillo’s wife witnessed the molestation on at least two separate occasions and never reported it to the proper authorities.
Brian DiCamillo is being held on no bond, charged with the sexual exploitation of a minor, child prostitution, and supplying obscene material to a minor. Jennifer DiCamillo was arrested and booked for child abuse that is not protecting the child or reporting the crime. Both Brian and Jenifer DiCamillo are employed by the Deer Valley Unified School District. The district said the safety of their students is their number one concern and neither of the suspects is actually working there during the course of this investigation and of course if convicted steps will be taken to terminate their employment.
